Twist the Familiar is a treasure!

Gary Hernbroth’s Twist the Familiar is a treasure; a collection of sixty-one little gems filled with wisdom and insight that will have you re-examining your business practices, and, by extension, Life itself. Gary does indeed "twist the familiar" as he subtly reminds us of techniques and best practices that we already know but may have forgotten along the way. We all have our blind spots; through stories told with a human touch and gentle humor, Gary enables us to see our own foibles even as he offers practical solutions. Overall, the tone is one of encouragement and positive practicality. Each chapter comes with a “Playbook” at the end – five or so questions enabling us to look closely at our own situation and how we might apply the lessons learned. Finally, while the focus of Twist the Familiar is on business, the stories and quotes throughout, not surprisingly, have Life implications as well. My favorite is “Don’t cry because it’s over; smile because it happened.” Thank you, Gary.
